Keep Moving Forward: A PT Toolbox for Life After Brain Injury and Stroke

Living with the long-term effects of a brain injury or stroke can create ongoing challenges with movement, balance, mobility, and confidence. Dr. Jamie L. Jackson will share practical, evidence-informed strategies to help survivors and caregivers approach everyday activity safely and purposefully.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Communicate proactively with their healthcare and rehabilitation team about activity, mobility, personal goals, and changing needs.

  • Use meaningful everyday activities as opportunities to practice movement.

  • Find an appropriate level of challenge while recognizing when reassessment or additional support may be needed.
