We started the Broken Road Project to fill the needs we saw in the short time we were in rehab.  Countless times we saw survivors working with amazing caring therapist who were unable to continue and make major breakthroughs.  This looked like financial hardships when their insurance companies decided they were finished with therapy, the inability to pay for premiums to continue insurance because they were not able to work as the provider for their families and even loss of their home because they couldn't pay their rent.  Thank God that Trent and I were supported by not only our family but organizations that we supported in our community as well as our church.  We quickly recognized how fortunate and grateful we were and decided to pay it forward for families and individuals in need.
